SC fibre optic patch cords made with ITU-T G657 single-mode fibre, featuring reduced bending sensitivity to ensure lower optical power loss when bent. They are available in standard lengths of 1, 2, 3, and 5 metres, with the option to manage custom lengths up to > 5 metres. Available in versions with standard boot or short boot, ideal for high-density applications with reduced space availability. The connector length from the tip of the ferrule to the boot is only 42 mm, 35% shorter than a standard SC connector measuring 57 mm.
